Support Chamber Choir with their international competition in Wales this summer

WHAT IS WINE SURVIVOR?

It’s called Wine Survivor but you can buy any liquor you want! Wine sales receive 10% off. 
This is a fun and easy fundraising event to help support the Chamber Choir’s International tour to Wales this summer.

WHO CAN PARTICPATE?

Team members must be over the age of 18. We are asking our Cantilon Choir Community to recruit teams to participate in this event. Recruit your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours and anyone else you think may be interested!

HOW DOES WINE SURVIVOR WORK?

Create a team of 6 and select a team leader. All members must be over 18. Each spot/team member – pays $25. To enter a team of six costs $150. Teams can vary; you can have 6 different people or one person can hold more than one spot. For example, you can create a team of 6 with one name holding all six spots ($150). Or, perhaps, one person on your team would like two spots ($50). Remember to create a cool team name!

HOW TO REGISTER

The team leader emails the team name and the full names of each team member with their emails to the event organizer – Gaylene Borgstede – at [email protected]

The team leader will then e-transfer $150 to [email protected]. Please use security question is "what year is it". Answer: 2022
A team cannot participate without completing payment. Payments and submissions must be received by midnight on December 7th. 

WHEN WILL WINE SURVIVOR TAKE PLACE?

November 21^st – Wine Survivor Launches!

December 9^th – Deadline for team registrations

December 10^th – Elimination rounds commence

December 19^th- First, Second and Third place winners are announced!

ELIMINATIONS

The event organizer will create a digital spinning wheel using ALL of the participant’s names. So, if a participant holds 2 spots ($50), their name will appear twice on the wheel. Starting on December 10^th, participants will be eliminated, on a daily basis, using the digital wheel. Join the Facebook PRIVATE group – Cantilon’s Wine Survivor – to watch the wheel spin and get updates on eliminations. Feel free to make fun comments and gently tease those who get eliminated or cheer on your team mates who are still standing! The Team Leader will be emailed every day so they can communicate to their team members who has been eliminated. AS LONG AS ONE PERSON ON YOUR TEAM IS NOT ELIMINATED, YOUR ENTIRE TEAM REMAINS IN THE RUNNNG TO WIN!

WINNERS

On December 19^th, the final elimination round will take place and the last three participants, and their representing team, are the winners!! The prize money for each place will be split evenly among the 6 team members. First place team will take 25% of the total amount raised, second place team will take 15% and the third place team will take 10%. Gift certificates will be issued to each team member from Liquor Select: Fine Wines (8924-149 Street) for the appropriate amount. All types of liquor can be purchased; however, any wine purchased will receive an additional 10% off! This store has an amazing selection of wines with very knowledgeable staff.
